In this 4-day Bloomingbelles Workshop, you will work alongside Pam in her at-home floral studio in Henderson, NV ( just outside of Las Vegas, NV) while she teaches you the behind the scenes of running a floral business out of your home. Enjoy a unique and fully immersive experience as you shadow a well seasoned florist. Learn how to market your business, prepare flowers efficiently, and assemble gorgeous florals. At the end of the week see all these pieces come together as we set up an actual wedding.

Daily Itinerary

​

Day 1 - Flower Prep & Care, Digital Marketing Strategies

On the first day of your workshop, you will be introduced to floral prep and flower care, preparing for weddings and events, and hands-on training exercises. You will be well on your way to keeping your flowers fresh and hydrated throughout the week as we prepare to install florals for a real wedding.

Dinner will be provided while we discuss digital marketing strategies, why photoshoot participation is a must, and styling tips to make your work stand out on social media.

Day 2 - Personal Florals & Centerpieces

On day 2, Pam will walk you through the process of making the actual personal florals & centerpieces for the wedding on Saturday. You will get in-depth, hands-on experience making bridal & bridesmaid bouquets, large centerpieces, boutonnieres & corsages. Lunch will be provided.

Day 3 - Floral Arch & Final Preparations

Spend the morning learning how to make a floral arch, the SHOW PIECE of the wedding. You will learn how to make an arch in manageable & transportable pieces. We will then spend the afternoon finishing any left-over items on the invoice and Pam will teach you effective techniques for loading and transporting your flowers safely for deliveries. Lunch will be provided.

Day 4 - Wedding Set Up

On Day 4 you will assist Pam in a full wedding set up! On the morning of the wedding day, we will install the florals for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We will take a break for lunch while we wait for the ceremony to finish. Discover techniques for seamlessly transitioning a wedding from the ceremony to the reception while learning quick and easy ways to repurpose and reconfigure flowers. Lunch will be provided.

Boarding Options

If you will be traveling from outside of Las Vegas and will be requiring a place to stay, the option to stay in Pam's home is offered as a complimentary part of the experience. If you wish to stay on your own, your own accommodations will need to be made.
